One Farnborough customer described using me for the second time to replace a broken soffit and some loose tiles, saying they "wouldn't go anywhere else for future roofing works". From Cove and West Heath to North Camp, Cherrywood, Southwood and the roads around the town centre, Farnborough has a wide mix of homes, and I've worked on most types of them. ### Where I work in Farnborough I cover the whole of Farnborough, including Cove, West Heath, North Camp, Cherrywood, Southwood and Farnborough town, across GU14. ### Getting to you Farnborough is a short drive from Aldershot, so I can arrange visits during normal working hours. I don't provide 24-hour emergency call-outs. ### Farnborough homes and roofs Farnborough has Victorian and Edwardian homes in its older areas, large amounts of mid-20th-century semi-detached and terraced housing, and extensive modern estates built as the town expanded. Concrete tiles, felt garage roofs and timber fascias from the 1960s–80s are common and are now at the age where they need attention. ### What Farnborough homeowners need most Typical Farnborough jobs are roof repairs to slipped or broken tiles, replacement of rotten fascias and soffits, garage and extension flat roofs, guttering, and full re-roofs where older concrete tile roofs have reached the end of their life. The communication from start to finish was excellent, kept me informed of any others faults he found. Underlay perishes, tiles become porous and repairs become more frequent. ### Soffits and fascias from estate builds Original timber boards on estate houses are often painted over many times and rotting underneath. ### Garage block roofs Felt-covered garages are a common source of leaks and are ideal candidates for an EPDM rubber roof. ### Wind exposure on open estates Open, modern layouts can leave roofs exposed to wind, so loose ridge and verge tiles are a regular repair. ### Winter weather Wet, windy winters across Hampshire and Surrey find weak spots first: slipped tiles, tired flashing and blocked gutters. Getting small problems looked at in autumn avoids bigger repairs later.
