Farnham customers have used me for flat roof replacements, new fascias and roof work on sheds and outbuildings. One GU9 customer had a felt shed roof replaced with a rubber covering, noting that I "worked on his own in very hot weather" and that "the price was fully consistent with quote". Another said I "set our minds at rest, knowing we had the right contractor". ### Where I work in Farnham I cover Farnham town and the surrounding villages, including Wrecclesham, Rowledge, Hale, Weybourne, Badshot Lea, Upper Hale, Tilford, Frensham and the Bourne, across GU9 and GU10. ### Getting to you Farnham is close to Aldershot, so arranging a visit during normal working hours is straightforward. I don't offer an out-of-hours emergency service. ### Farnham homes and roofs Farnham is known for its historic town centre with Georgian and older buildings, surrounded by Victorian and Edwardian streets, 20th-century suburbs and village properties with larger gardens and outbuildings. Clay tiles are common on older homes, and many properties have extensions, garden rooms and sheds with flat roofs. ### What Farnham homeowners need most In Farnham I'm often asked to replace felt flat roofs on extensions, sheds and outbuildings with EPDM, renew fascias, replace lead flashing and advise on whether an older tiled roof needs repair or renewal. He worked on his own in very hot weather diligently completing an excellent job and explaining the process as he went. He left the job very clean and tidy and the price was fully consistent with quote, I would have no hesitation to recommend him to others.”- Verified Checkatrade reviewer, GU9 · Checkatrade 10/10 Common problems ## Roof Problems I See in Farnham ### Older clay tile roofs Handmade and older clay tiles can delaminate and slip. Sympathetic repairs or renewal need care to keep the look of the property. ### Garden buildings and sheds Village properties often have outbuildings with failing felt roofs. EPDM gives them a long-life covering. ### Tree cover Wooded areas around Farnham mean more leaves in gutters and moss on shaded roofs. ### Extensions on period homes Where modern extensions meet older walls, lead flashing and flat roof upstands are frequent leak points. ### Winter weather Wet, windy winters across Hampshire and Surrey find weak spots first: slipped tiles, tired flashing and blocked gutters. Getting small problems looked at in autumn avoids bigger repairs later. My process ## How a Job in Farnham Works - Step 1 ### Free inspection I come out, look at the roof and talk you through what I find, in plain English. - Step 2 ### Honest diagnosis I explain what's causing the problem and whether it needs a repair or a renewal. - Step 3 ### Fixed written quote One clear price for the agreed work, no day rates. If extra work turns up, I agree it with you first. - Step 4 ### The work I turn up on the agreed dates, keep you updated every day and keep the site tidy. - Step 5 ### Clear up and guarantee Rubbish is taken away, and renewals are covered by my company guarantees. ## Villages around Farnham Beyond the town, I work across the Farnham villages and neighbouring areas including Aldershot, Ash, Godalming and Guildford. If you're in a village and unsure whether I cover you, just ask. ## Period properties Older Farnham homes need a considered approach. I'll explain options clearly and give honest advice on what's needed. ## Paying and practicalities Every job in Farnham is priced as a fixed quote after a free inspection, and if unforeseen damage or extra work is found once the job starts, I'll show you and agree any change with you before carrying on.
