The communication from start to finish was excellent, kept me informed of any others faults he found. Left the site very clean and tidy.”- Ian W, GU14 · Checkatrade 10/10 Excellent work again – fascias and soffits “We have used him a few times now and never hesitate to contact him for anything roofing. We had our Facias and Soffits replaced this time and the whole job went smoothly from our initial quote to finishing the work. He always arrives when he says he will and the work was completed to a very high standard and the site was always kept very clean and tidy.”- Verified Checkatrade reviewer, GU12 · Checkatrade 10/10 Common problems ## Roof Problems I See in Guildford ### Dormer loft conversions Flat dormer roofs and their junctions are common leak points. ### Ageing extension roofs Felt roofs on extensions often need renewal. ### Survey concerns Buyers frequently get vague roof comments on surveys. ### Hilly terrain Exposed hillside homes can suffer wind damage to ridges and verges. ### Winter weather Wet, windy winters across Hampshire and Surrey find weak spots first: slipped tiles, tired flashing and blocked gutters. Getting small problems looked at in autumn avoids bigger repairs later. My process ## How a Job in Guildford Works - Step 1 ### Free inspection I come out, look at the roof and talk you through what I find, in plain English. - Step 2 ### Honest diagnosis I explain what's causing the problem and whether it needs a repair or a renewal. - Step 3 ### Fixed written quote One clear price for the agreed work, no day rates. If extra work turns up, I agree it with you first. - Step 4 ### The work I turn up on the agreed dates, keep you updated every day and keep the site tidy. - Step 5 ### Clear up and guarantee Rubbish is taken away, and renewals are covered by my company guarantees. ## Nearby areas From Guildford I also cover Godalming, Ash and Ash Vale and Farnham. ## Roof reports for buyers A roof report gives you a clear picture before you commit. It's chargeable; estimates for work are free. ## Working in Guildford Because Guildford is further from my Aldershot base, I plan visits in advance so the inspection and the work fit around agreed dates. Once the job starts, it's run exactly the same way as anywhere else: I do the work myself, keep you informed daily and leave the site clean at the end of each day. ## Paying and practicalities Every job in Guildford is priced as a fixed quote after a free inspection, and if unforeseen damage or extra work is found once the job starts, I'll show you and agree any change with you before carrying on. Roof reports are the only thing I charge for before work begins. Payment is by BACS bank transfer (preferred), cash or cheque. I hold £1 million public liability insurance, and I keep you updated on progress every day until the site is cleared. ### Nearby areas - Roofer in Godalming → - Roofer in Ash & Ash Vale → - Roofer in Farnham →All areas: Aldershot, Ash & Ash Vale, Farnborough, Farnham, Fleet, Blackwater & Hawley, Godalming, Odiham FAQ ## Roofing in Guildford: Questions ### Do you serve Guildford?
